I've taught English as a Foreign or Second Language for many years on three continents. I love working with people from other cultures, and will give you all the help you need and the respect you deserve. I tailor my sessions to you, and go as slowly as you want. I speak French, some Spanish, as well as basic Arabic, so understand your difficulties if you're from any of these linguistic or related backgrounds. I also work on improving your American accent so that you speak with more confidence as well as understand us Americans better in movies and when we're in conversation....

I am an accomplished poet and college student currently pursuing my degree in Human Services, Counseling. I have facilitated several writing workshops. I am also that mother of two young adults who struggled through their academic journeys due to intellectual disabilities (auditory processing/speech). I believe that everyone has the capability to learn. All we need is to find what moves or inspires them. Learning is as individual as DNA.
