I am an accomplished poet and college student currently pursuing my degree in Human Services, Counseling. I have facilitated several writing workshops. I am also that mother of two young adults who struggled through their academic journeys due to intellectual disabilities (auditory processing/speech). I believe that everyone has the capability to learn. All we need is to find what moves or inspires them. Learning is as individual as DNA.
