Hi! I’m Katie and I’ve been working in Elementary Education for 16 years. All of my years teaching were in 5th grade and my current position has me working on ELA curriculum in grades 3-5 and helping to coach teachers and work with students, also in grades 3-5. Relationships matter to me first and after those are established, everything else just comes so much easier. I love to make reading and writing relevant while rigorous and engaging.

I've taught English as a Foreign or Second Language for many years on three continents. I love working with people from other cultures, and will give you all the help you need and the respect you deserve. I tailor my sessions to you, and go as slowly as you want. I speak French, some Spanish, as well as basic Arabic, so understand your difficulties if you're from any of these linguistic or related backgrounds. Hi :) My name is Annabel and I'm a 2019 graduate from Pine View School for the Intellectually Gifted in Osprey, FL as well as a 2023 graduate from Drake University with a B.S in Psychology and minor in Music. I've spent most of my life tutoring and helping in the classroom, from as young as 14 years old!
