I’ve recently started branching out into helping tutor kids with mostly reading, writing and language but I also like teaching science (actually I love it bc I like sparking interests in young minds) , and also history (especially World War Two is a major topic for me).When I was a child my great grandmother raised me and read alot and every week we would go to the library and by third grade I was choosing three novels to read for the week. I have earned a PhD in Education, specializing in measurement, math, and research. After 11 years in the Air Force and volunteering at schools, I discovered my passion for teaching. I especially am interested in helping student's reduce their anxiety about math and increasing their confidence in their abilities.
