I've been a certified teacher, both elementary and middle levels, for 18 years, and before that I was a tutor and test administrator for Sylvan. Prepping successful students is, and has been my first priority from my first year.

My tutoring services stand out because I don't just prioritize comprehension of the subject I tutor, but also a deep enthusiasm and optimism for it. My goal is to have pupils leave sessions feeling confident and ready to tackle whatever is thrown at them by their instructors. I think math is something that should evoke a sense of eagerness and pride as opposed to helplessness and fear, and so as long as those I tutor are willing to keep having those light bulb moments, math won't be a menace to them, rather a welcome challenge.
