Josie M. says, "My son is a senior. He started SAT prep in the summer, I wish I would’ve started sooner but the other tutors did not work and finally with this company I saw improvement 2 months into the tutoring on the next exam. My son just got accepted into the university of Miami if not for the preparation this group of tutors provided my son, I know this would’ve never happened! I get an absolute kick out of someone I'm helping breakthrough a problem with, then all of a sudden they look up at me with those deers in the headlight look, and they (practically in tears by now) loudly blurt out, "I got it!" That is the most satisfying and rewarding aspect of this job. 👍💯

Hello, I am an elementary school teacher with 15 years of experience. I have been in many different types of school settings; private, public, charter, nonpublic, and social-homeschool to name the least. I have success with K-2 students teaching them how to read, improving comprehension skills while building confidence. I also have experience teaching ESOL online with an online company. As an educator, I aim to meet my students where they are and build on their skills. With extra TLC students will not only be able to see their success but be proud of it!

I love enhancing the learning of students of all ages. I believe in making tutoring fun through using conscious discipline especially with the little ones. Work and then reward! I have brought students who didn't learn to read because of covid to the end of second grade reading level!! I enjoy showing students that teachers are good and we care about them and their education.

What is special education tutoring?

Special education tutors help students with mild to severe cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities. Special needs tutors modify the general education curriculum to meet the child's individual needs and involve themselves in each student's social and behavioral development.

What is disability in special education?

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) identifies 13 disability categories where special education should be provided.

  • Emotional Disturbance (ED) – various mental health issues such as anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression.

iReading TUTOR was amazing with my daughter online. We love the convenience of tutoring online because it doesn’t waste gas money and my time carting her to the lessons. She made so much growth in her decoding and comprehension skills. I Reading tutor even informed us about a FL state reading scholarships for students that earned an FSA level one or two in the 3rd and 4th grade.

I have 3 children and as a single dad, I do not have the extra time to sit down with my children as much as I would love to do so. The tutors they always send me are professional and friendly. My kids are doing great in school and always turn things in on time. The owner is very nice and friendly too.
