Bonjour! Je m'appelle Jacqueline et je voudrais vous aider!
As the pandemic has hit home for me personally (I had the virus in March and was laid off in May), I'm working hard to develop a new skill like many of us are!
I have been studying French since I was 9 years old, and it was my major in college. I was fortunate enough to spend six months studying at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier III in Montpellier, France, where my coursework was all French-language related in grammar, phonology, and translating. I'm currently reading Voltaire's Candide in my spare time!
I do have experience teaching ballet ages 3-12, and was a professional ballerina before going to college. Ballet's terminology is entirely in French (thanks, King Louis XIV!) and was the impetus behind me wanting to learn French from the start.
I would be overjoyed to help you, your child, or your cousin's neighbor's great-grandmother learn the wonderful language that is français.
Enchanté, etc j'espère que je peut vous aider!
I enjoy everything about France and her language - from the nitty-gritty details of grammar to the beauty of the language and the history behind it.

For a new student, I will begin working with him/her/them to lay a baseline for their current skills, areas they excel, and areas that need improvement. I will use this information to produce tailored learning plans to develop both understanding and a passion for advancing.
My degree from the University of North Georgia is in French Language. I also studied for 6 months at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier III in southwestern France, along with several other trips throughout my life to other cities and small towns throughout France.
