I have been helping other students, peers, colleagues, and friends’ children most of my life. Math and the sciences were my strongest subjects even through college. I earned more degrees in finance and later studied design to focus my career ambitions. However, after decades of a few exciting careers, I returned to my favorite career, tutoring. While I was retired, my success in tutoring became known to a few colleagues who asked me to help their children. I have worked with students from 3 to 33 years old, but most have been in middle and high school. In addition to STEAM coursework, I also teach language arts, grammar, US History and

I work at building strong, positive relationships. This is key to my students and I having a shared understanding of each other's teaching/learning style, and to adapting when or wherever necessary. I enjoy seeing the results - students' mastery of the content, academic success, and their personal appreciation.
