I am happy to introduce myself as a 5-year teacher with experience in music and elementary school teaching experience, as well as tutoring and note-taking experience up through the college level. I'm Carmen Andrews. I have a BS degree with a double major in Microbiology and Zoology, minoring in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland in College Park. I also have an MS degree in Physiology from Georgetown University. I worked as a scientist, college professor and certified secondary biology teacher for many years. In addition, I was a district level science coordinator. I have been tutoring students in elementary school through graduate school for 10 years. Their success is my success!

I a CT Teacher's Certification 1-6 and have worked as a classroom educator in grades K-8 for 8 years. I have a Graduate Certificate in Elementary Education and I have taught in Granby, South Windsor schools. My success is based on a combination of approachable style and humor based understandable explanations.
