Hi. I've been a K-12 teacher for 38 years, with most of it in elementary and middle school. I am a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing as well and have worked with special needs students. I have tutored of and on throughout my years of teaching. I love working with students to help them get to that moment of understanding.

I enjoy helping students better understand or learn new topics, this is because as a student who was gifted in school I often times did not understand traditional teaching methods or felt unstimulated.

I've been formally tutoring since junior year of high school, when I helped start a tutoring program at my school for struggling middle school students.
