I am a college student that has been tutoring intro to chemistry in her college's skills center for almost three years now. I am helpful, patient and pretty good at explaining concepts in more than one way.

I have certification and experience in Teaching English as a Second Language, and continuing training in accelerated learning techniques and strategies. I have a patient approach to instill self-confidence in my students. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and some German. I like to see my students become confident and independent learners.

I have a Ph.D in Biology (Physiology) and have taught in High Schools, Jr High Schools, and Colleges and Universities. I have published about 8 articles over time. I enjoy working with young people and I love teaching.
