For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, and with students, I am a patient and nerdy type of person. I love working with students, and I love to travel! I can do online tutoring on Zoom, or in person tutoring within 10 miles of Pleasanton, CA. I have over 25 years teaching and tutoring high school and college students up through AP Calculus. I currently teach at Foothill High School and Las Positas College. When teaching large high school calculus classes, over 90% of my students pass the AP test, most with a score of 5.
