Hello to all! I have been a private tutor for over 33 years and tutor most general education subjects including three foreign languages (i.e., Spanish, Japanese, and Tagalog), but my forte is mathematics. With the many years of experiences that I have, I also have experience in working with students with varying disabilities. And the grade levels that I tutor in range from kindergarten through 12th as well as college, returning adults, and some graduate level tutoring (e.g., GRE prep).

I have a current active CA teaching credential, an M.A. in Education and Second Language Acquisition, as well many certifications in English Language Learning as well as reading. I have done extensive research in the field of language learning specifically English as a Second Language (ESL), I taught middle school for 6 years (ESL, social studies, reading and writing), as well as ESL for adults. Everyone learns differently and I love teaching children, teens and adults how to learn in a way that works for the individual....

As a current college student, I have about 3 years of experience tutoring children and adolescents in various subjects, specializing in English and Spanish. I love showing them that learning can be fun!
