Hi! I’m Alister, an engineering student at Stanford University. I tutor math (grade K-12), physics & chemistry (high school), and language arts (grade K-8). I have four years of experience and love working with students to solidify understanding—once students truly grasp concepts, I find they start to really enjoy the subject. I'm a graduate student of mathemtaics. I help in mathematics across several levels (elementary school, middle school, high school, college, grad school). I will not only tell you answers but will guide you with examples to answer them. I have been tutoring for almost a decade, and I have formally taught middle school, high school, and college classes. I have also helped in crafting exam questions and hence I am also well versed with assessment.

I am a current high school senior and I've taken enriched Geometry and Algebra courses as well as AP Calculus BC and AP Physics Mechanics: C. I have tutored many high school students in these subjects and I am dedicated to making sure everyone I tutor understands not only how to do well in their specific subject, but also how to learn effectively. I am very flexible with the hours I can work. I love solving problems and expanding my knowledge and I get the same satisfaction from leading other people to do the same.
