Hi! My name is Israa, and I’m a current nursing student with a strong background in STEM subjects, English, and mathematics. I’m passionate about helping students learn in a way that feels supportive, engaging, and personalized to their needs. Working with me is very patient, interactive, and goal-focused. I take time to understand where a student is struggling most and break concepts down step-by-step in a way that matches their learning style. I am a hard working, easily likeable person that can teach you everything you are looking for. I have training over 400 server's at there position, over 500 bartender's at there position, and 1,000's of sales hungry individual's. I can make everything easy by starting from the ground up. My favorite student is someone who knows nothing so I can mold them into who they want to become. This is never easy, but with me it will be fun, challenging, fast learning, and easy to comprehend. I am a huge believer in kiss ( keep it simple student) as much as possible. I know what you want to know and it is my pleasure to help you learn everything I know.

As a second-year student attending Folsom Lake College, I am proficient in English literacy, public speaking, and writing skills. I've competed on a national level multiple times throughout my professional career for speech and debate, and have won numerous accolades including the Sacramento Gordon D. Schaber Moot Court Tournament. My experiences have allowed me to attain profound knowledge that I am passionate about spreading.

I am a recent college graduate from UC Davis and I have been tutoring children and youth since I was in high school. In my free time I volunteer at a refugee enrichment center in Sacramento to tutor youth. I have experience in a variety of academic subjects. I take pride in my fun and motivating approach to tutoring children. My goal is to mentor my students to develop the skills they need to become the best students and humans they can be.
