When it comes to tutoring experience, my area of expertise is math. While I have worked with students from grades 2 to 12 for the past 8 years, I have more experience working with middle and high school level students. I have tutored students in trigonometry, algebra, and geometry (without proofs). In case I need to review any of these topics, this is why Khan Academy exists.

I am a medical doctor looking to get away from the field. I love to teach and work well with students of all ages. I can teach a variety of subjects and am willing to work with any student eager to learn.

Currently a graduate student at UC Irvine's School of Medicine, I was a 6th grade multisubject teacher for 2+ years. I attended my undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley and am one of many experienced teachers in my family. All K-6 content standards are relevant to my current level of experience and I have worked with many ages and levels of content and English language understanding. I'm particularly experienced in teaching math at any level and find joy in those "aha" moments when a concept finally clicks for a student.
