Currently I am a Golden Westminster student looking for opportunities to serve through education. I tutored grammar and religion for about a year in Nevada and enjoyed it immensely. I now wish to expand my horizon and try a variety of topics starting with Elementary math. I love watching and engaging with kids and hope to return to the teaching position some time soon. I have a creative way of planning the lessons including hands on work, fun and colorful ways to explain the lessons so to keep kids engaged in the work and encourage them to exercise and move around.

I have my degree in early childhood education with a minor in history and taught for five years before becoming a full time private tutor. I have been a tutor/homeschool teacher for the last 10 years, and during this time I have worked with students from pre-k- high school. I'm qualified to tutor multiple subjects, but specialize in writing/reading. I believe that every child learns differently, and I create lessons that focus on their strengths while working to strengthen their weaknesses. I do this through activities, games and content appropriate lessons.
