Recently graduated Electrical Engineering from UCSD interested in teaching grade-school students and determined to provide the techniques that I have used in my studies to achieve students’ understanding of the mathematics at hand and other personal goals. I have a professional background in studying and applying Calculus and Statistics; I am also proficient in instructing Algebra I and II. I have experience tutoring students individually and amongst a collection of students. I have collaborated with teachers and other tutors/volunteers to ease the weight of learning new material and facilitate students’ learning.

As a tutor, I try to give curriculum materials that support the child's needs, but also help them to advance in school by aligning to the school's challenging material or supporting the level of struggle that some grade levels carry in Common Core subjects. I tutor to support students in the long-term growth, not for short-term learning . I work to help students see progress in all their hard work practiced & expressed over time. I love to help students see school to be engaging by using materials that help them develop interest in school subjects.
