I am an Elementary teacher who has 26+ years experience teaching students phonics, writing, reading, reading comprehension for students in Kindergarten through High School. I enjoy watching students when they "GET IT"! The excitement and confidence a student receives from my help feels great!

Since 2016 I've worked in some local school districts as a Spanish and ELD instructor, but most recently as a substitute teacher. I am credentialed in both German and Spanish and most recently spent time in Sicily. My love of languages will be apparent working with students who may be struggling in Spanish, German and/or learning English as a second language.

I earned a BA in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Education, followed by an MAEd in Teaching. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of how students learn and the importance of adapting instruction to each individual's unique strengths and learning style.
