Hello! I’m Miha Bhaskaran, currently a senior at UC Berkeley studying computer science. I have experience on course staff for an introductory computer science course and have experience with teaching elementary - high school math. I’m an adaptable teacher and will tailor classes to the student’s learning needs/preferences.

I am an Elementary teacher who has 26+ years experience teaching students phonics, writing, reading, reading comprehension for students in Kindergarten through High School. I enjoy watching students when they "GET IT"! The excitement and confidence a student receives from my help feels great!

Since 2016 I've worked in some local school districts as a Spanish and ELD instructor, but most recently as a substitute teacher. I am credentialed in both German and Spanish and most recently spent time in Sicily. My love of languages will be apparent working with students who may be struggling in Spanish, German and/or learning English as a second language.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington , and a Master in Business Administration degree. With 5 years of experience in tutoring students from K to 10th grade , and a background in mathematics, including subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and pre-Calculus. I observe and listen how elementary mathematics students learn so I can utilize the best teaching methodology(s) that would help each student understand their math. This makes learning easy and enjoyable for them. For higher level math, I explain in sufficient details what each problem-solving steps should be and the reason(s) behind them.
