As a tutor, I try to give curriculum materials that support the child's needs, but also help them to advance in school by aligning to the school's challenging material or supporting the level of struggle that some grade levels carry in Common Core subjects. I tutor to support students in the long-term growth, not for short-term learning . I work to help students see progress in all their hard work practiced & expressed over time. I love to help students see school to be engaging by using materials that help them develop interest in school subjects. For special needs & neurodivergent students, I am Orton-Gillingham trained for Dyslexia, Dysgra...

I am a local college student who once struggled in math, however, I made it my duty to learn and master the math showed to me during my K-12 math career. I want to help other students with their struggles in math as well. I always want others to strive to be the person they aspire to be someday, it just takes a little push of encouragement and help to get there for some.

Hello everyone! I have been working as an independent tutor since 2022 (3+ years of experience) and I love to do so! Not only do I enjoy helping other students but I believe that in doing so, I am also keeping my memory intact (which is a little trick I teach my students as well). I am currently a nursing student with two Associate’s degrees, one in Health Science and one in Social Sciences. Although I have basic K-12 knowledge engraved into my memory, my teaching skills go beyond that into college coursework as well. I am proficient in English, Literature, Math, all Sciences, etc. I have always excelled in school and have juggled Advanced P
