Hi there! I am a current student in UCI pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have been tutoring for over 3 years now. I had taught many students ranging from elementary to college levels. My main subject is Math, however, I am also open to help out in other subjects. Why tutor? I enjoy teaching and connecting with students. I love to help students do well in their studies. They are the future of the nation after all. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve their grades, my goal is also to help students discover their passion for learning and improve their confidence in their own path. Since I am a student, I can understand every emotion that comes with frustration or being stuck on assignments or lessons that may appear confusing. I put my best foot forward to first understand the lesson by myself and find a different approach to make my students understand to the best of their ability. Additionally, even if they are anxious or are having the urge to give up, I will look from the perspective of a student and comfort them to focus on understanding only what they can.

I've been teaching math for over twenty years now, and my experience gives me the skills I need to explain math to pretty much any student. I love my work and I'm very patient. I have a masters degree in math from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and I've taught at schools from San Pedro to Glendale (Kansas City too).
