Kei S. says, "Great tutor who is very patient and helpful. Adapts to my needs. There's a little "curse of knowledge" going on--ie, the assumption that I know more than I really do---but we work together to overcome that. Additionally, my tutor suggested some behavioral habits and minor diet changes that actually worked for me. I will be working with my tutor, Fred, again!" Read more

Ernest H. says, "Our son has learning challenges, and finding someone who could really connect with him—let alone teach him math and science—has never been easy. Kaivan was different. He’s patient in a way that feels earned. He understands what it’s like to struggle, because he’s been there himself. That alone made our son feel safe—like he didn’t have to hide when he didn’t understand something. Kaivan doesn’t just explain concepts—he listens, adapts, and encourages without ever talking down. Our son not only started to get the material, but he started to believe in himself again. The difference has been night and day. We're so grateful to have found him." Read more

I graduated at the top of my class from Harvard College and Yale Law School. While at Harvard, I tutored students with and without special needs in math and other subjects. I have been a practicing lawyer for about 25 years, and one of my main clients – – a Wall Street investment banker type – – hires me primarily to polish and edit his reports. I also have three children ranging from elementary school to high school, so I am quite familiar with how important it is to make learning fun and simplify /draw analogies to concepts that the student already understands. I enjoy figuring out each student’s particular learning style and coming up wit
