Hi my name is Kelsey. I have been working as a tutor for 9 years and have worked with children of all ages. I have also helped in special education classrooms. I have nearly completed my teaching degree. I recently had my first child and would like to continue working with students while my education is on pause. I can help with reading, math, English, history, science, and study help for k-12. Teaching is my passion. I love helping students grasp all types of information and feel most happy when I'm helping others achieve their goals.

I have a BA in math from Berkeley and I've tutored at the high school and college level. I primarily develop software but I'm still available for math tutoring. My tutoring style is to make sure the student understands the current topic completely before I move on to the next topic because concepts in math are always based on other, more basic concepts and operations. Moving too fast just leads to confusion.
