Hi! My name is Umair Ahmad. I am Bachelors of Science in Biology undergraduate, from the University of California Riverside. I love learning and teaching math and science, and believe that the best teaching is done with patience. I have 2 years of experience as a math tutor working at Mathnasium, but have worked with kids much longer as a volunteer at my former elementary school. I would say my teaching style is specialized towards each kids’ needs, making sure that what they learn is in an interesting and fun way, that sticks to them and is more about understanding than just memorizing.

When I was 7 years old I realized I loved math.

I try to share with the students an easy way of looking at maths topics, that involves minimum memorization and maximum understanding. That is the way I have been learning and using maths, and that's what I would like you to experience. Helping improve understanding and increased confidence of students is always reqarding.

I am a graduate Civil Engineer and very good in math and science.I know so many student are very poor learner in math because they don't teach them in a very exciting way in today's problem or world. I was like many student before when I finish High school but I got excited when my teacher thought it in a deferent view and then I begun to excel on it because I discovered it's a lot of fun. That's how I intent to teach my students to get a lot of fun, you just won't stop doing and learning plus it's logic and common sense, no need to memorize any thing.
