I have been a teacher in Arkansas for 6 years. I'll begin year 7 during the fall. I've taught pre-k, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I've also had experience teachig English Language Development classes to ESL students. I enjoy reading and learning. If I can extend that passion onto students in my classroom, I feel accomplished. I have been working professionally in education for 13 years. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s of Science in Reading, and a Master’s of Science in Special Education Instruction. In Arkansas I am certified to teach K-8th grade in all 4 core subjects, ESOL for K-12, and Special Education for K-12. I am also trained in multiple intervention programs. I had to leave the classroom to take care of family but I still want to do what I love, which is help students and families.
