Mathnasium of Little Rock has been offering math instruction and homework help to students in our community since early 2016. We offer both year-round instruction and summer-only math programs. Our expert math team is passionate about helping kids in our community improve and excel in math!

I am a kindergarten teacher with a passion to teach foundational learning. I also love to teach other areas such as middle school in high school grades, and I feel that my tutoring ability will boost the confidence of any learner that is ready to learn. Fun and engaging! As a current college student studying to be a special education teacher and with prior experience teaching in different settings, I have taught a lot of different ages! I’m most familiar with teaching younger ones especially with spelling and reading, but I have worked with older students as well. My teaching method is simple, working together! I am a team with my student, I will find a plan that works to their learning style meaning we can learn together! I also work with parents and take their ideas into account as well. My goal as a tutor is to help my student not only be more confident in them selves but see them grow in their abilities!

I've always had the natural gift of teaching. I love helping my younger siblings and younger cousins with math work and even English work. Im 17 years old but I have experience helping kids with early math, all the way up until alegbra one and geometry. I'm able to relate to students on a personal level because I'm a student myself. I enjoy being able to meet and help new people. I feel there is always something to learn, always something to open your mind to. I've always wanted to help people.

I am a dedicated Computer Science student at the University of Michigan. As a math tutor for high school students and a volunteer math tutor at the Central Arkansas Library System, I have honed my ability to connect with students, tailor my teaching approach, and create engaging lesson plans. These experiences have allowed me to assist students in understanding complex concepts and improve their problem-solving abilities. I've taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geomentry and Pre-Cal over the past 2-1/2 years. Currently teaching Algebra 1 and running the math lab at Baptist Prep. I love math and helping students to grasp math concepts. Math is so important in excelling academically but it also trains your mind to problem-solve which is so important in the work force.
