Personalized learning is an educational approach that aims to customize learning for each student’s strengths, needs, skills and interests. This is a modern approach to education that I am interested in using.
I have been teaching mathematics and computer programming in K-12 , community colleges and 4-year universities since 1993.
I have earned advanced degrees in mathematics and computing from accredited institutions. I earned a CISCO certification for instructors (CCNA) and worked as a CISCO instructor.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Greet the student very politely.
Introduce myself to the new student, in a friendly manner.
Assess the student abilities and background, to be able to design a suitable approach for our collaboration.
Use my previous knowledge and experience to make the new student gain confidence and trust me as a teacher/tutor.
Ask specific questions, and get into details.

Have completed undergraduate and graduate work in mathematics, applied mathematics, computer science, computer programming.
