I have 6+ years experience working with special education students in a school setting. I have helped children across all academic subjects. I am CESA certified and have worked with grades K-6.
I absolutely love working with children and helping them go from frustrated and unable to understand a new concept to that "AH-HA" moment.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I really enjoy taking some time to get to know the student first. I want to learn where their strengths lie and how they learn best. Getting to know a students intersts and abilities helps to ensure a personal connection with them which then fosters a positive learning environment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 6+ years experience working with special education students. I have worked not only in school settings but I have also supported students outside of school with social-emotional regulation and communication needs. I am CESA certified.

Rate will be based on the level on need/instruction and how many hours needed.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working with specila education students after years of volunteering and feeling a deep calling to make a career out of that. I love teaching and working with students and helping them to reach their full potential.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with special education students with a wide variety of needs. IE: Autism, Downs Syndrome, RADS, ADHD, ODD, Non-verbal, Cochlear Implants
