I’m Mike, a Data Scientist working primarily with Python and PostgreSQL. I graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) with a Bachelors of Computer Science. While there I had an uncommon opportunity to do research on synthetic audio generation using MSOE’s supercomputer. This led to me winning a competition held at MSOE for making the best use of their supercomputer held by Nvidia. I also led the schools Artificial Intelligence Club where my primary responsibility was creating educational workshops.

For the past three years, I’ve worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at a large automation company. My path into engineering has been nontraditional—my academic background is in the natural sciences—but it’s been a rewarding journey. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring interns, college students, and professionals. I begin each mentorship by understanding the individual’s goals and then tailoring my approach to support their growth effectively.

I am Adam I am going into my 3rd year in Biomedical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I have taken all the math courses required for my program and used tutoring for most of them. I am aware of what it means to be a good tutor and aware of common mistakes in those math classes. Math can be frustrating when something isn't understood. I wish to help students learn and identify mistakes without a building frustration.

I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While I took courses over the semester, I also participated in Peer Mentor positions where I helped students learn material more effectively and and answered questions in topics of Electrical Engineering as well as physics.
