Sim Tutoring

Hi, I’m Simra, and I’m excited to support students in mastering biology and related sciences! I hold two master’s degrees in biology and evolutionary studies and have over five years of research and teaching experience. My background includes molecular biology, bioinformatics, and physiology, and I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses at the University of Washington.

I’ve also tutored high school and college students in subjects ranging from general biology to anatomy and physiology. What I love most about teaching is helping students find clarity in challenging topics—whether that’s breaking down complex processes like cellular respiration or connecting scientific concepts to real-world examples.

My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe every student is capable of succeeding in science when they’re given the right tools and encouragement.
