I am a newly graduated college student working part-time right now as I look for opportunities to teach abroad in the next couple of years. I graduated with a bachelor’s of science in engineering, and was a tutor as well as tutored during my years at school so I have a good understanding of different effective teaching methods. I appreciate feedback to improve each learning experience.

Hi there! I earned my masters degree in August 2023 and am now a PA working in primary care. I have years of experiencing tutoring both high school and college level math and science. I started my own tutoring services while a senior in high school and at one point had up to 8 students at a time. While in my undergraduate training at Colorado State University I assisted with teaching physiology and led review courses weekly. While I love providing patient care and education I have missed providing education to those studying math and science. I am particularly passionate about instilling excitement about math and science, which are two subjec

Macy L.
My situation was unique. I had serious epileptic seizures during high school resulting in multiple brain surgeries and a long, challenging recovery. Matt entered my life during this time; I still had assignments to complete before graduation and an impending SAT exam, so I met with Matt twice a week and learned the essential concepts of writing and reading comprehension. While math was my strong suit, Matt helped me identify some earlier math concepts that needed refreshing. My initial SAT score prior to my relationship with Matt was 1260, but, after tutoring, I received a 1510 and was accepted by my school of choice for pre-med studies. I continue to meet with Matt two or three times per week during my undergraduate studies for more advanced writing strategies. I cannot imagine a better academic mentor than I have found with Matt.
