How did you get started teaching?
I was inspired by my second grade teacher. I have a love for math and helping others understand the concepts. When I started out as an special education instructional assistant, I realized my true calling in my teaching profession.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary
Special Education (Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Developmental Delays, Autism, Emotional Disabilities, Intelluctual Disabilities)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Being able to walk across the stage and receiving my master's degree infront of my children, showing them that hard work and dedication pays off.
