Graduating a student who completed the program. We had fun while learning. He advanced from avoiding school to a confident young boy
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Choose a tutor that can understand the underlying reason for reading and writing difficulty. The reason for the difficulty needs to be targeted. Only reading more will not solve the problem or give the student the skill set that they can then use independently
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should feel confident in asking teacher any question. The teacher can then reframe the question to isolate what the student needs from the teacher
