I worked as a litigation attorney at a top law firm in New York City for almost 10 years. As much as I loved studying law, I did not enjoy practicing it. So, after obtaining a Master's in International Relations with a focus on Development Economics, I transitioned to non-profit work but then eventually found my way to teaching English. I have now taught for 7 years, and I love it. I have taught 7th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 12th Grade, and AP English Language. I also coach our Debate team. I taught formally at a high school for 6 years (everything from Math 3 to AP BC Calculus to CE Statistics).
