I worked as a litigation attorney at a top law firm in New York City for almost 10 years. As much as I loved studying law, I did not enjoy practicing it. So, after obtaining a Master's in International Relations with a focus on Development Economics, I transitioned to non-profit work but then eventually found my way to teaching English. I have now taught for 7 years, and I love it. I have taught 7th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 12th Grade, and AP English Language. I also coach our Debate team. Hello! My name is Chelsie Lambert and teaching is my passion! I have been a school teacher for the past 8 years in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade and a year in special education. I love math, and I love that it's everywhere (even in the VANS logo ;)) I've tutored math since college, got my degree in math/stats education from Utah State University with a GPA of 3.92. I taught formally at a high school for 6 years (everything from Math 3 to AP BC Calculus to CE Statistics). During my time teaching in Ogden at a Title I school, my AP Calc program tripled in size and we increased the pass rate to 90% (well above the national and Utah averages). I am so proud of them!
