I have been teaching at a private school for over 18 years. I had to step away from full time teaching. During this time I have been studying for a master's degree in math education and have been working as a homeschool tutor and after school tutor for two years. I have loved this facet of education as well. I have always loved classroom teaching, but the connection and progress made in one-on-one or small group instruction are magic.

We provide homework help, test prep, and improving math skills through a customized learning plan based on the needs of the student. Each session is 1 hour in length. After a FREE assessment, we'll put together a customized learning plan and schedule of sessions for each student. We typically meet in person at our tutoring center, but we can also do session online or a combination of both. We provide weekly tutoring sessions for 2 times or 3 times per week with each session being 1 hour in length. I’m a tutor because I love to help the people around me learn and grow. I have degrees in Biotechnology and Physics with emphasis put on astronomy and mathematics. While going to collage I helped many other students learn, both as a tutor in labs and with one-on-one help.

I am currently a math teacher at a 6-12 charter school. I have experience teaching every math class from 6th grade through Math III, specializing in Geometry and Math II. I work at a school with a high special education population and am used to working with students with varying educational needs. Teaching math is my passion, and I believe in my heart it is possible to get every student to realize they are capable of understanding and even loving math.
