I enjoy the light in a child's eyes when they realize that they can read. And better yet, when they understand what they understand what they have just read. Tutoring is my way of giving back to students who have difficulties in learning. I enjoy working with students that are dyslexic. I've worked with students that are dyslexic and they really appreciate the patience that I give to them. My middle daughter is dyslexic and she is working on her second degree. As a current college senior with 5+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level.
