About
Hello, my name is Medely and I have been in education for over twelve years. I am passionate about learning and engaging students. I began working in Richardson ISD as a Special Education aide. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Education through Texas Tech University. After teaching in Dallas ISD for four years, I went back to RISD as an Elementary Bilingual Teacher. During this time, I also completed my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have taught Elementary Grades 1st through 4th grade, all subjects.
In my years as a classroom teacher, I have been a Mentor Teacher, Grade-level Lead, Teacher of the Year, and served on the Instructional Leadership Team at my school I am grateful for every one of these experiences that have helped me grow as an educator. After nine years in the classroom, I am eager and excited to serve students in a different capacity through home-schooling or tutoring. I love connecting with students and helping them feel confident about learning and growing in areas where they need support.
