I have been teaching/mentoring youth since I volunteered at an Elementary scool in 2015. I have earned my Associates Degree and Bachelor's of Science in Human Services teaching youth literacy and English. I have taught youth programs, coached at-risk youth to pursue school or G.E.D. and have worked 1 on 1 with students as a special education paraprofessional improving test scores as well as reintegrating students back to the classroom/peer group. I enjoy the light in a child's eyes when they realize that they can read. And better yet, when they understand what they understand what they have just read. Tutoring is my way of giving back to students who have difficulties in learning. I enjoy working with students that are dyslexic. I've worked with students that are dyslexic and they really appreciate the patience that I give to them. My middle daughter is dyslexic and she is working on her second degree. I’m a retired nuclear medicine professional specialized in cardiology. . An associate fellow of American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. I attained a doctorate level in my education. Been a tutor all the way back in college tutoring freshmen students keeping them from dropping out of college. I believe everyone is smart and can succeed when patience, compassion, dedication and respect for one another is not lacking. I love sharing my education and inspiring my students.
