About
I am PhD Biochemist with peer reviewed, international scientific publications in the fields of Cancer Biology and Molecular Pathology of Tuberculosis.
When it comes to teaching, I like making life style improvements in the study habits as well as pushing students to new heights that they did not think they could. In the sense, once they take a semester-long BIOL or CHEM course or two (CHEM 1 and CHEM 2 or BIOL 1 and BIOL 2) with me, they should be able to do well in all other courses, in the same subject and even in the other subjects, and in basic life skills such a time management.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for ateacher/tutor who will help you learn the content (instead of how to make an A in the course) and help you say, sooner instead of later, "Who needs a tutor? Now I know how this works! I can do this without a tutor!"
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Look for a teacher/tutor who will work himself/herself out of his/her job and let him/her look for other students, who are currently at the point where you used to be when you hired him/her!
