My name is Colleen Cabanillas, but my students call me Ms. Cab. I am easy going and very calm and I never pass judgment. Everyone learns differently and it’s my job to find out what your best way is. I also believe that learning should be fun so I will go out of my way to make it fun and interesting for you. I was a classroom teacher for 27 years and I taught everything from kindergarten to Junior College. My last eight years were in alternative education high school and I found those years and those students to be the best of my career. They even elected me teacher of the year 2009.

Howdy! I’m a current third-year dental student at Texas Tech and rank in the top half of my class. I graduated from Texas A&M with honors in Biology, so I have a strong foundation in the sciences. During undergrad, I tutored peers in Biology and Chemistry from my sophomore through senior year. Most of my experience was in group settings, though I also worked one-on-one with students.
