My services stand out because my top priority is making sure that the student fully understands any concept we take on together even if it takes a couple sessions. I stand out because I believe in team work and taking any obstacle on together as a team and not just give answers.
I enjoy learning from the students as much as they learn from me. I enjoy taking on obstacles together and playing games that help students study in a way they enjoy.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I enjoy getting to know my students, their background, favorite ways of learning, and their strengths and weaknesses. I believe knowing their learning style is important to helping a child suceed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I interned in a first grade classroom and a third grade bilingual classroom during my junior and senior year of highschool. I prepared lessons, whole and small group, created learning games, reviews, and conductd progress tests. I also tutored below level students in reading and math along with help students prepare for the STAAR test
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Starting rate is $20 for an hour and $15 for every hour after that
How did you get started teaching?
I always wanted to be a teacher growing up, I am currently enrolled in College to become an elementary school bilingual teacher with a special education certification
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with general education students, bilingual students and special education students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to get to know the person you are going to potentionally hire because if you cannnot connect and feel comfortable with your tutor, it is less likely you will be accepting of their help
