I am a college student who has attended a French school since 1st grade. I am fluent in French and have passed the brevet (a final exam taken in France and other European countries in order to evaluate a student's overall knowledge in different subjects and languages) with a Mention Tres Bien (highest grade possible). In addition, in recent years, I took the AP French exam and got a 5/5.
I speak 4 languages and consider myself a polyglot. I value bilingualism as I believe it is crucial in terms of academic and social aspects. Teaching languages is therefore a passion of mine.
Ella is an excellent tutor- very dedicated and knowledgable.
Ella has been tutoring me for a few weeks and I already like working with her. She corrects my oral and writing errors which is exactly what I need. Compared to my previous French tutors, I am learning much faster with Ella (at a far lower price as well).
I worked with Ella on a weekly basis to keep up with my French while I took a gap semester from the course, and I am very pleased with the lessons and glad I went with Ella! Each week she has some assignments, which are tailored to my needs, that we work on together. I also occasionally had homework from her. Going into Advanced French courses, I feel very prepared after these lessons. I would highly recommend!
She is a very sweet girl and helped my son get a 5 on his AP French exam with only a few months of tutoring. Definitely recommend her.
Based on a person's level, my pricing ranges from $30-$50 per hour.
I would prefer working with students as young as 8 to students 18+, but I am available to work with anyone. Since my tutoring is online, I can work with people all over the world.
