About

As a tutor, I like to know my students’ specific needs and build connection with them. Tutoring makes possible a learning environment of reciprocity, one in which I learn from my students as they learn from me. I encourage students to think about the tutoring session(s) as a forum that welcomes and encourages a free exchange of ideas.

My commitment to education inspires students to learn and grow with dignity.

I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Government. I taught graduates and undergraduates courses at Texas A&M. I also provided lectures at Baylor University on host of topics including International Security, Middle East, Global Affairs, and International Relations. I am also the winner of the 2015-2016 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD).

I enjoy working with students and helping them be successful. You can check my ratings on ratemyprofessor.com

If the tutoring session is done one on one, I tend to charge $120/h. If online, it is $85/h.

I have acquired an extensive professional experience over the past 15 years that includes military service, working as an international security analyst in Washington DC, geopolitical consultant, global speaker, author, and, of course, teaching for the last 7 years.

I tend to work with college level, both graduates and undergraduates. From time to time, I teach dual credit to high school students.

I am also open to assisting non-traditional students who want to learn.

The student needs to have a clear idea of what he/she wants to accomplish by hiring a tutor. That said, the student needs to make sure the tutor is a good fit for his/her educational needs.

What kind of experience the teacher have prior to teaching?

How does the teacher structure the course/session?
