We are well-qualified and state certified to teach a variety of academic subjects including government, business, and business information computer systems. We know that we are an excellent choice to teach and inspire students.
We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our students at every level. Our past and present employers in educational organizations are very satisfied with our work performance, and we are confident that we can bring the same level of high energy and quality work to each and every student we touch.
Beyond what was already mentioned above, we are educators with strong skills in English Language Arts, General Business, Computer Literacy, Social Studies, and we are experts in GED preparation. We have been teaching adult education and basic education courses for 15 + years. We feel completely certain that our strong knowledge and teaching skills will be of immediate value to students needing our assistance. To assist our students, we have created (all 4 GED subject content-area videos) over 180 distance-learning step-by-step complete GED video tutorials (page-by-page) that allow students 24 hour instructional access. Most of our GED students complete the entire GED preparation/test and earn their High School Equivalency Diploma in 120 days or less!
$25 is an estimate. We will negotiate whatever is good for the student.
Our current students are having great success with our complete GED preparation. Most say our step by step videos, page by page tutorials make all the difference. One student recently earned her GED with us in only 45 days.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We complete an initial academic assessment (per subject) and design an individualize learning plan based on the results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our teachers have at least a four year degree in their subject. Some of our teachers have advanced degrees. Most of our teachers are state certified and some have at least 5 years teaching in their fields with ongoing training.

We usually negotiate whatever is best for the student.
How did you get started teaching?
Started school at the university in 1993 and graduated with a teaching certification in 1995 from the University of Central Texas in Killeen, Texas.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with secondary students in grades 6 - 12, and adult students from 18 - 72.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a student so excited, she called me from the GED testing to let me know she passed her math test... WOW!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Allow the teacher to assist you with the struture and processes that they have developed. Follow their professional advice.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure you are ready to get started and ensure you have made time in your schedule to attend the sessions.
