After 30 years in media production, I changed careers and became a classroom teacher through an alternative certification program in Texas. I hold these certifications currently: Generalist 4-8, Social Studies 8-12, Journalism 7-12, and ESL Supplemental 4-12. I recently retired from the classroom, but want to continue my ties to education. The bulk of my classroom experience is with students that have learning differences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive functioning difficulties. I have specialized in working with students on an individual basis and delivering instructions based on their learning styles.

I am a current junior at Allen High School taking AP Chemistry, and Anatomy. I have taken Advanced Chemistry and Advanced Biology and have a passion for science. I can teach any subjects in science and English from Grade 10 downwards. I like to do comprehensive lessons and a mini-quiz at the end over the topics covered to make sure that the information taught has really connected and stuck in my students' brain.
