I have a strict grace-based approach! I love getting to celebrate with you so we can both say that we made it happen together! Learning does not work by just one person doing all the work. We will make mistakes, but when we work together, we learn together. LEARNING CAN BE FUN AND PAINLESS! I like to break work apart into manageable chunks and I make sure we are truly confident in our work before we move on too quickly. Speed is not the name of the game (Unless we're working on Words Read Per Minute, then that's a whole other situation.) I prefer to have fun while I learn and teach because I believe we can learn more when we choose to enjoy i...

Tutoring and remediation is specifically designed for each student individually; most learning centers use pre-designed programs for a given area of remediation regardless of students' individual needs. At R.B.S., concentration on each student's specific needs and eliminating areas of unnecessary remediation is the focus. The small setting and one-to-one tutoring eliminates distractions creating the ultimate learning environment. At R.B.S., there are never any substitute tutors. I communicate regularly with each student's classroom teacher and other related professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to increase academic performance. St...
