Gillian McHaney

My name is Gillian and I focus on meeting the student where they are at. I focus on motivation, encouragement, and taking the extra time to ensure my students are understanding the material. By coming from a place of understanding, I hope to help my students not only feel confident in the material, but to also help them feel confident in themselves.

I currently hold a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience form the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where I graduated cum laude. I am currently working toward my master's degree in social work through Syracuse University. I am an excellent writer and have a passion for science. As someone who describes themselves as a lifelong learner, I hope to ignite a passion in my students for improving their education and advancing themselves as individuals.
