Ms. Peña has worked with our daughter for nearly two years, and during that time we have seen growth in both her confidence and her knowledge of Spanish. Ms. Peña creates a supportive and engaging learning environment. She does an excellent job of keeping her engaged throughout each session. She adjusts her instruction to support upcoming assignments, while building a strong foundation of skills. Her lessons incorporate a variety of activities that strengthen vocabulary, reading comprehension, oral fluency, and writing.  As a primarily English-speaking home, we are especially grateful for Ms. Peña’s support as our daughter navigates the challenges of dual-language learning. She has truly helped foster her academic growth, and a genuine love for the Spanish culture.  We deeply appreciate all that Ms. Peña has done and highly recommend her to any family seeking a dedicated and effective teacher.
