Hello! My name is Brittany and I have been working in education for 5 years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education in 2019. My years of experience are in special education, K-5. I’ve taught reading, writing, math, SEL, and more. I’ve received additional training in the area of reading and am regarded as highly qualified in the area.

I have been a high school English teacher in Providence, Rhode Island for the past eight years and substitute taught for two years prior. I have also tutored students over the years with a focus on essay writing, test prep, and analyzing literature. Every career requires some level of reading and writing. Over the past ten years I have worked as a Special education teacher across different grade levels. I am a current student at the University of Massachusetts Boston and am a student mentor for the incoming freshmen class. I have two years of tutoring experience grades K-12 in a wide variety of subjects, but my specialty is History and English/Literature as that is what I’m getting my degree in.
