I have been an award-winning educator for over 50 years. I love the acts of teaching and learning and conversation and communication. I bring enthusiasm and passion to each session. I am now retired, but love to “stay in the game” through tutoring.

I'm a very easy going person, I will explain things at the pace they want it to be explained at. I will do an excellent job because I'm really good at helping people and adapting to their learning styles. I'm currently a college student majoring in philosophy.

I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have been tutoring for approximately two years. I have a great deal of experience tutoring for the examinations that middle and high school students take for college or new school admission: SAT, ACT, ISEE Middle, SSAT, HSPT etc. I can also help with college admission letters and with reading, writing and math skills for elementary, middle and high school students. I have 10+ years of experience teaching 7 different aspects of 12th-grade Math in public schools. My focus is on helping my students gain access to the essential knowledge and skills that will accelerate their learning, or at least move them forward, whatever the level they are in their journey in Math. No 2 students are exactly alike, so in every learning interaction, exercises and conversations are built in to know them and update my knowledge of their status in order to better serve them.
